The particularity of mould processing is the requirement of die processing equipment. |
Mold processing has its particularity, which is mainly:
1. Most of the mold need to be solid core metal processing module on the shape of complex curved surface, with the development of mould is toward large-scale, module weight will be bigger and bigger, some have now of dozens of tons;
2. Most of the molds are cuboid or cuboid, rarely narrow and long shaped, and the main processing amount is concentrated on the concave and convex mold;

According to the above four particularities, the following basic requirements are put forward for the mold processing equipment:
1. The machine should have good rigidity and large bearing capacity which is suitable for the module weight;
2. High accuracy and precision retention;
3. To be able to quickly and efficiently remove the residual quantity, and have high reliability, to maintain a continuous and long running load;
4. In order to adapt to complex curved surface machining, and with a large amount of processing capacity, the machine can be required to have multi-axis linkage and a CNC system with large information capacity.
5. The working table size should be suitable for the shape and size of the mould. It is suitable for rectangle or square and round, not narrow and long, while the height direction and its schedule require a larger space.
The above mentioned only a few basic requirements for the equipment, and there are many special requirements. For example, the machine tool for processing plastic requires higher speed, but because of the small cutting force, the machine tool can adopt light structure to reduce the cost. The application of the testing machine is not required to be efficient and fast, but it requires the reverse kinetic energy to repair the mold. A large number of repetitive processing of certain simple processes can be used for special machines and so on. At the same time, composite processing, flexible processing and online testing are also requirements for mold processing.
